Hey Bill,

Has in deed been a very long time,
and we certainly express our greeting to Nancy as well.
How about we have a Xmas cheer drink together?:yesnod:

I would love to tip a few libations with you too but I'm freezing my arse off in Iowa. I've been here almost two weeks and got stuck in the mother of snow storms last week. Hint: Don't do business in Iowa in December. Anyway, I'm suppose to be home this weekend and looking forward to some warmer weather. It was 14 below this am. People here are nuts for living in this. Now where the heck did I leave my Jack Daniels? See ya all soon I hope. Oh Yeah, Merry Christmas too.

Rich, the very best to you and family

Same to you, my friend.

and by the way, this 7.0 liter I've read about, ain't it a blast? Just love that torque pushing the driver's butt down in the seat while horses are turning loose from under the hood, and we're the one's in control of it all.
Great reading some activity with the site club. Hat's off Rich:thumbsup:

Shadow old friend, Very happy to see you too

Hey Spice:wavey:

Merry Christmas from our family to your my friends:wavey:
Have GREAT holiday's old friend, hope all is better for you and family, especially this coming year.
Thank the Good Lord above none of us are in TIGER's Shoe's, LOL........are we?
LMAO, nothing like leaving a TRAIL of emails and text to your front door I always say.:lmao:

DAMN man, IWOA? Your business is Potato's? LMAO

GET your butt back here man, your a Floridian and we're suppose to be smart enough NOT to go anywhere above the Panhandle border this time of year, LOL.
BE home, and look forward to sharing a PINT at Murphy's with you the rest of me ole Corvette friends. Best of Holidays be with you and yours.

on a side note, I have not seen one corvette in 12 days since I've been in Des Moines, Iowa. The roads are mostly clear but I think all the TOYS have been put away for the winter. There's nothing like living in Florida especially in the winter!! I can't wait to take THOR out for a RIDE. Merry Christmas to all.:thumbsup:

Thanks for your reply Jim, hope all is well

Jim, Very special Holiday's to you and family, looking forward still to our meeting one day, maybe this year for sure.

Hey have any of your club member's done the Dupont Coffee and Cafe deal?
Hae been doing it here in Orlando showing because the meet isn't but less than 5 minutes from my house, a VERY VERY few vette showing maybe 3 or 4 per showing, including myself.
Very cool Exotic's show, but their showing is really to say see all the money I spent. Not very warm people like us vette folks, and they HATE IT, I mean dislike to end a Corvette parked next to them, LOL.
Guess it's because they know us vette owner's can kick the butt of any of their exotic's, LOL. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yes...We do the St. Petersburg Cars and Coffee which is this Saturday and we have +/- 15 Corvettes from the club come over and another 10 show up from around the area. We Corvette people and Hot Rod people have pretty much taken over the show and told the Exotics and their attitude to "Stuff it!!"

Ricky who heads up this chapter, frowns on any display of HP of any kind. Always to remind everyone the LAW is lerking around the bushes, and they are. There was a time however that law enforcement would cut some slack as they are speed freaks and car guyz as well, but not too much anymore.

the cars here amount to about 200-300 per showing, ton of porsches as I'm sure is true in Tampa.
a recent link for this area? flickr.com under Orlando automotivce club, then click the kabel41 photo stream link.
I was told to not park my Mallett any more with the "European Exotic's" that the far end parking lot was more suitable with (lower class American vehicles)
Really!!

Did the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise again this year, and what a fantastic turn out of muscle Iron, and Hot Rods, it's a 3 day bash that is a BALL !
Not often does one see AA/FX rails licenced for the street, Funny car's and God only knows how many PRO Street machines, Vetts out the Ying, Yang.
probably 1500 plus again this year, and all free, bands in three different locations, Show car's in every strip Mall shopping parking lot's all over the place from International Speedway, and up and down A1A beach line, just crazy and a ton of fun. And talk about Burn out's, LMAO.
Just a great time.:crazy03::dancer01::crazy03::dancer01::lmao::lmao:

If you feel the notion and this American Muscle vs. Exotic Crap bothers you in Orlando, I would suggest you call Alan Morin at DuPont at (727) 573-9339 or Steve Dupont and tell them what is going on at your shows. You can tell either one you talked with me. We probably should have had this conversation via email, but our St. Petersburg Show gears itself to every type of car on the market and several times had even a "Smart Car" next to me. (Who Cares!!), I am there to see nice cars, meet new people and talk cars........Exotic or otherwise!!
:hehehe: Jim :hehehe:

Have shown the Mallet from the very begining, And have before expressed my opinion too many times, for which it goes on deaf ear's.
My point was the european cars are cool, it's the people who own them , the people that run the show.
And the Orlando chapter club, well no more for me, although I'll give the west coast people our support I think. It's only a couple hour drive.
I have a coupe times offered to go head to head with the European fella's, but they laugh and pass the offer as I buried the Porsche v/12 that show's OAC cafe & coffee at last years Daytona's Fun track day trials.

Oh YEAH BROTHER

That is one red hot Zzzzz06.
And be my pleasure to have it escort me over the finish line, LOL.
Just so you'll know, a kinda FYI, I'd like a shot at Rich's hopped up Blue Thunder.
We do have some MIGHTY fine Corvettes in this club, and some that are just plain Red and Blue Devel's as well.
So Jim have you added any goodies to that Red Rat?
