I can't believe but I found these on ebay and am not sure if these are any good. You cant beat the buy it now price only 269.99 plus 49.99 shipping

Corvette 97-04 C5 LS1 5.7 L Long Tube Stainless Headers from tunerzimage out of Southern Califorinia they have 15 sets to sell

What do you all think of this is it one of those to good to be true

Seems to me I recall someone posting that they got these (or something similar) and they were VERY difficult to install because of manufacturing defects. Like things just not lining up like they should.

There are a LOT of scams on Ebay, so beware.....

If you are dead set on getting them, make sure you can pay with a credit card and NOT PayPal, and can return them if they don't install well.

Yeah I wouldn't cheap out on a pair of headers...exhaust leaks just SUCK. I'd pass on the ebay deal unless you can find some happy customers that have already installed them. I'd check their feedback to see if anyone has bought them. You can send them an email though Ebay and ask how the headers were to install and if they were pleased with the end result. Expect it to take awhile to get a reply though...

Sounds to good to be true. Quality does have its price and when you really think about it, how in the heck can you make a quality header for under 300.00? You may be in for a bitter pill. Good luck.

I can tell you from personal experience,I had 2 customers come to me with cars someone had done over in Panama City who installed these headers and they are made of stainless but it is half the wall thickness of the Stainless Works header and where the collector turns to go through the tunnel it was hard against the engine bell and the vibration would translate through the engine and be picked up by the knock sensor and it would pull out about 10 degrees of timing and both guys had replaced the A/C lines because the header was touching there also and it burned through the line.

Long story short don't waste your money, buy a name brand set of headers.

Ouch! They weren't so cheap after all, I guess............. :nonod:

I've got LG Motorsport Pro headers on my C5Z and they make a really delicious rumble...... Even before I had the turbos put on. :hehehe:

PLEASE DONT DO IT

Greg has now been refusing the install of these headers after trying it once, they were so defective and crappy
