Hello all....

ynkedad

Wassup!!!
:wavey: We're Back!

We had a GREAT time in Eleuthera:dancer01: !
Did lots of Snorkeling/swimming, Grilling and Partying!
Met some people from the W. Palm area (doing construction there) while at the friday night fish fry. There, I did some Shots out of the back of their suv, and we danced :dancer01: in the streets to some Island Music (which by the way, is how the locals now remember us).
While snorkeling, we saw a Stingray:thumbsup: , a Shark  (not sure what kind) and a Barracuda:eek: . We ALL freaked and became land lovers for the rest of the rest of the day!:nonod:
Anyway, Gas prices were between $4.87 and $4.96 pre gallon:eek: !!!
Prices there for a beer (while out) were $4.00 for the local beer and higher for the imported (Bud etc). It's a good thing the Liquor was cheap:hehehe: !!!
It's good to be back...Looks like i've got lots of reading to do!

Beats me....... Nothing I did, at least not on purpose. But things have been pretty hairy around here lately with server problems...

We went to Eleuthera about 15 years ago. You're the first person I know that's even heard of it. We stayed at the Club Med (BIIIGGGG MISTAKE!!) and had a week of brushing out teeth and showering in salt water. I'm sure things are much better now. We took a very old bus to town, the windows and seats were removed so they could pack more people in it. IT looks like it was designed for about 25 but we must have had about 50 counting the ones sitting on the window sills  I remember the pink sand beaches, beautiful! Looks like you had a great time, do you remember most of it? :lmao:

15 years ago, WOW! I doubt much has changed on the Island since your visit though :hehehe: .
From what I understand the Club Med has been closed for years. Also, from i'm told, they're supposed to be opening something else up in its place. I can't recall what exactly, maybe Condo's or something.??
Anyway, We love the Beaches as well. The houses we've stayed at, they were Secluded and "private".

Welcome back Ray!!:welcome: Looks like you had a blast and that view is killer.:dancer01: Gotta watch out for those stingrays, remember Steve Irwin? Anyway, it's good to have you back.

Hey Mark,

Yep, I do remember. :nonod:

The Stingray was around 30 to 40' deep on the ocean floor just sitting there.
It didn't scare me as much as the Shark or Barracuda though!
