New member from Jacksonville, Fl. I have been a member of the "big" forums for almost three years. I have a 2004 Torch red Z06. It is totally stock with no mods planned. I have had it since March of 2004 and it now has 846 miles on it. I don't get it out as much as I should. I have not been to any Corvette only shows, but I attend many other car shows with my 1923 Ford Model T street rod. I am very interested in getting together with any local Corvette enthusiasts. Glad to be here.
 
:welcome: Wow! Only 846 miles! I thought I didn't get out much! So does that mean you are only on your third tank of gasoline? :eek:

I think we BOTH need to get out to some Corvette shows real soon......
 
I don't know how you guys do it. To spend that much money and get only visual excitement. :banghead: Drive her hard, she'll still respect you in the morning!

I thought I did not drive mine very much, but 800 miles in two years, you are out of my league!

If you get involved with a local club and start doing some events, you will drive it and enjoy it more. :thumbsup:

Funny you say that Ray. A few years ago I was out with my wife for my birthday. Just a regular ho-hum day. We're at dinner and she asked what I wanted to do when were done. She said, "how about we go to the Corvette store (The Toy Store in Largo, Fl. All Vettes)" I couldn't afford one at the time. My response was "that's like going to a strip club and not being able to touch".

Needless to say, she didn't find that amusing. It's one of those things that are inside words, not outside words! Oops. :rofl1:
