Hello everyone! This is my very first Corvette! I had a 350Z Roadster for 2 years, and a Miata before that. Here is a (low res) picture:

I just want to drive, put a TON of miles on it, and have fun!!! I've already put on 3 coats of Menzerna Glaze and FMJ and am waiting for this weather to clear up to go for a ride. I picked it up last week from a Vero Beach dealer with 9 miles on it, and it already has 600!

I did a lot of modding on my Z, but my plans are to go modless on the Vette. Well, not "completely" modeless :) I've done the iPod integration kit (Neucleus), splash guards, Lloyds mats and window tint. Now I am done. No, really! :reddevil:

:welcome: Nice looking vette! Yeah, I know what you mean. I think GM should put a microwave and have the seats fully reclinable so you can basically LIVE in the car if you want to. :) I work out of my home, so really don't have much reason to go anywhere, so I wind up just LOOKING for excuses to run to the post office or the grocery store.

Welcome to the site. That is a great lookin' color.

This is my first Vette too. I didn't plan on modding either...now look at my signature!

Well since you like putting miles on it, you should come to a few local Vette shows coming up.

Corvettes @ the Pier in St. Petersburg this Saturday
Dimmitt Corvette show in Clearwater on 9/16.
Corvettes in Venice Party 9/9 Corvette show 9/10
TBV Ultimate Corvette Party 11/18

Take a look at the Calendar above to view all events and shows.

:welcome:

Great color!:yesnod:

I admire your desire to keep it stock, but let's see where you are a year from now!?!?!?

Great site and it's nice to have you!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes. And speaking of warm, this morning turned out beautiful so I snapped some better pics on the Clearwater side of the Causeway. Here are some of the ones I liked the most in small versions. If you click on them you will get the hi-res version. I particularly like the last one, as it makes a great wallpaper!

Welcome, :wavey:

I live in Tampa too. Besides all the rain I try to get the car out on the weekends.

Great pic. and looking forward to seeing you at the shows or on the road.

Welcome aboard, congrats on your first Vette, as someone who puts miles on his Vette (my 01 Z06 has 110,000 miles on it), I am glad to hear someone say they are looking forward to driving their Vette.

Driving it and putting a ton of miles on it, my kind of Vette owner. My 2001 Z has 110K on the clock, and runs strong as the day I bought, actually stronger with the mods I did...
