hi ppl, just wanted to chime in ..i used to drive an 07 STI .. and traded my car in for an 03 Z06.. it's an 50th anniversary edition,39k miles, silver z06 it was bone stock when i bought it..didn't do too much on it just basic stuff like k&n filter,a set of goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3,xenon lights(best bang for the buck mod ), shift knob,bosch icon wiper blades, chrome exhaust plate,short antenna.. wanna do some power mods later on long tube headers with cat and x pipe probably..here are some pix of the ride

thanks , i live right on gandy and 275 .. it's pretty close , would like to come join you guys ..so when's the next cars and coffee show?
 
Sat. Mar 15th...between 7:00am and 9:00am...that way you don't miss out on chores or other "honey-do-list" things...

We go right by Gandy and 4th onto Roosevelt...then on to Ullmerton to duPont at about 7:20 each time...you could, should join us...

Wow what a beauty and welcome to the Forum. IF you are interested in doing mods, etc. down the road, you have a wonderful shop in your area called Auto XTC. They've done several mods for me and others and are great to work with. Phone is 727-573-1292 and Larry French is thew owner and John is the master technician. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sounds to me like you are coming down with a touch of mod fever. You do know, of course, that there is no cure?
 
thanks for all those replies , i had few mods on my STI ( turboback exhaust,cold air intake,boost gauge,engine management, and tune).. i'm new to the corvette world..i'll probably do some headers and CAI , i'm told catback doesn't do much since Z06 has a titanium catback...i was searching on the forums (corvetteforums,z06vette) , most ppl say vararam intake is a good brand for CAI in addition LG and dynamaxx are reputable header producers..correct me if i'm wrong..

Nice car :welcome:. There is a nice show down in Punta Gorda this Sunday and a bunch of folks from this and other forums will be there. Some of us are meeting at Bob Evans at the Bealls/Lowes Shopping plaza at I-75 and sr70 at 0800 on sunday morn. You are welcome to jjoin us and join us for the ride down to the show.
