whats up im from gville. i own a 03 z06 bone stock for now. its the second vette i've owned, the first was a 04 z06 which only had an intake. i come from the f body crowd. the first car i drove enthusiastically was a 91 firebird formula. it had an L98 in it which i swapped heads/cam/intake/exhaust but only put down about 300 rwhp because it had a stock 700r4. im truly enjoying the t56 and the 60+ extra hp, not to mention the weight difference and double the economy.... but im a speed freak. i'd like to make this car pull with a c6 z06. small things first... what kind of headers? how much of a difference does catback make? vararam the way to go for intake? i dont think im going to put down the money for a new manifold, what kind of difference does the fast make? i dont know much about the LS motor is there any kind of easy port/polish work that can be done for reasonable gains like previous generations? i wouldnt imagine composite being easy. what size is the stock LS6 cam? ehhhhhh im just rambling now i'll probably find the answers to most of my questions throughout the forums

Can't help you with the mods. My '04 Z06 is also stock except for a CAI.

Welcome aboard........ You may want to post your questions about engine mods in the mods forum. Might get more attention there.

But as for headers, I went with the LG Motorsports Pro headers on my '02 Z. There probably isn't a world of difference between different brands of long tube headers, but certainly fit and finish will vary. Just get stainless headers, and have them ceramic coated if they don't come that way.
