I Rode in a C7 last night

LEJ ZO6

LEJ ZO6
Friends stopped by last night to show us their new C7. BEAUTIFUL CAR !

Velocity yellow, Black interior, 2LT/Z51, Chrome wheels, 6 speed paddle shift, transparent roof.

They ordered it in May from Stingray Chevrolet. They said Stingray sold it at MSRP and gave them Black Book high trade in value for their 2011. It was immaculate and only had 11,000 miles on it. If someone wants a like new 2011 red/black convertible you might want to check with Stingray and see if it is still available. All in all they thought it was a fair deal and they said Stingray was great to deal with.

I didn’t drive the C7 but I got to ride in it. Very, very nice. He jumped on the throttle so I could hear the exhaust note. Very nice sound. Quiet inside when cruising but sounded powerful at full throttle. It didn’t have the grunt that my ZO6 has but it was no slouch, even with the automatic transmission.

What a looker !

Lucky man. I wonder what the C7 ZO7 will be like!!!!! :)

Yeah, man! I think GM is setting a pretty high bar to reach when they come out with a noteworthy performance model of the C7.

Of course, based on what we saw with the ZR-1, I'm expecting the price to be into 6 figures for one. They know they can get that for it, so they would be foolish not to.

Not that I'm likely to have the money for one anyway.... :nonod:

Based on what I have read, it will be called a ZO7. There has also been some conversation that it may have a twin turbo V8.
