Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I got thru my heart cath yesterday without any new problems. They found the heart good and no new blockage. Still don't know what's causing the chest pain, but got many more tests coming up to try and find the problem. Thanks for the kind mail I've received and prayers.
I got LOVE back out just before I went into the hospital and actually managed to drive it for about 1/2 hr without it going crazy hot. Kept the rpm's down around 2,000 (45-50mph) and it stayed steady at 200/210 water and 260 cylinder head temps with 900 exhaust gas temps across the board. However, when I tried to push it up into the 2,800 area and 70mph, it shot up till I backed back down.
Looks like I'll be doing the water pump to intake manifold lines next to pump cool water straight into the top of the heads to push out any chance of air pockets. Wish me luck on both battle grounds.
