I'm looking at an Eckler's speaker unit.

It's seems to be designed for C3's and from the description it might fit perfectly against the back wall without sucking up too much space. Consists of three pieces, two speaker units of 3 speakers and and center foam section. But even Eckler's tech unit confussed me a bit concerning fit. Has anyone bought one of these units? If so how does it both fit and sound?

The part I'm speaking of is Eckler's item number 43687

Growing old is inevitable, Growing up is optional !!!

I have also been looking at that unit. I am hoping they will have one on display (and discounted) at the reunion event. I plan to use it in conjunction with a Hidden Audio unit.

Eckler's

I've sent another e-mail to Eckler's seeking further clarification on dimensions. The way they worded yesterday's response seemed to say that each speaker section measured 21" with an adaptable 14" foam center section. My Vette has an available 35" of width so I think maybe they mean that both speaker sections total 21" in length with the 14" center section equalling the 35" available space. I'll let you know.

Silly me.....

Talked to Eckler's today. The 21" dimensions for each speaker section are correct with an adaptable 14" center section but it's meant to fit up high which provides about an extra 18-20" of available space. I had measured available space flat on the deck, silly me.

I went ahead and ordered one 'cause I want the Vette "complete" by the end of March.

Ought to be able to offer a reasonable T & E for ya Larry, just give me a bit of time.
