I'm new to this site-Need advice in florida-please read

Hello all,
I own a 1988 conv and 2nd owner with 65K miles. I am looking for a club near south florida. I live in pompano fl.

I have been taken by a vette shop here, Vette Xperts- (don't use them) I would appreciate if anyone could reccomend:
1- a honest specialist who knows there stuff without getting my wallet drained.
2- a club I can join
3- a used parts store thats not going to kill me or over charge me. I recently called brads parts- for a headlight door cover, I had quotes from 40-60 used and new from catalog companies but being the type who wants it nnow and many used part shops near me I got a quote at 100 bucks from brads for a used one. i asked if they could work with me on the price- not even a budge. Maybe they forgot about the recession.

I am so sorry to hear of all this , a lot of people are being "taken" these days

most people think just because you have a Corvette you have $$ to spend

and they usually test you out to see how far you will go :nonod:

Its sad and its not fair but thats why we have forums like this one that way

everyone can help each other when it comes to needing help and

recommendations....

I am not familiar with shops wayy down on your end of Florida, but I am sure

someone will chime in who is :thumbsup:

America's Corvette Club is located in Pompano Beach. Contact their president: Joe Cutroni, 954-481-9763 or the NCCC Governor, Joe Lazzaro, 954-341-3054. If that doesn't work...they meet at Lou Bachroot Chevrolet on the first and third Thursday at 7:30.
