In our shop soon!

Ms. AntiVenom

Vicious Evil Person
we have purchased an ASNU (ultra sonic fuel injector cleaning)
and it should be in the shop this week, so that means we will be able to offer injector servicing
We were just having so many people coming in with bad injectors being their problems and got tired of sending them out to clean, and they are expensive to buy so::
There are all kinds of features that are available, I will list more info later.

Symptoms of Injector Problems

Lack of Power
Vehicle has lost it's performance
Poor Fuel Economy
Vehicle uses excessive amount of fuel

Excessive Exhaust Emissions
Vehicle fails emissions test & O2 sensor failure

Hard Starting
The vehicle is difficult to start, hot or cold

Rough Idle
The vehicle does not idle smoothly

Poor Driveability
The vehicle suffers with hesitation and pings

Saw this machine in action in action today, it is very cool, and the benefits look to be pretty dramatic. The ability to create a matched set of flowed incjectors so you know what you are getting when you place in the engine is pretty valuable.

I had mine done today. My car has 30k miles on it and there wasn't anything "wrong" with the way it was running. I just wanted to get it done to see what the difference would be.

My stock injectors turned out to have good flow patterns. However, they were about 4% different in flow from lowest to highest. Since they were stockers, Greg had some extras and we were able to put a set together that was matched to within 1%.

I can definitely tell the difference. The car is smoother at low RPM in gear, and has crisper throttle response.

I am well pleased. :D

I've been reading some accounts where people recommend putting the higher flowing injectors on cylinders 5 and 7 because of some documented lean-out problems in those cylinders causing engine failures.

Anyone got any feedback on this particular issue?
