This intake was made for 2000 and earlier C5's. It has the hole for the Air Temp Sensor. It will also work on later models. It is currently on my 2001 and I have the hole covered up, notice the Moon Eyes sticker. It works great and never had any problems or codes.
I will throughly clean and oil the filter.
