C6 Limited Production Vettes

A few months ago, before the Grand Sport was announced, Chevrolet announced two new limited production corvettes.

One was to look something like the C6Rs and the other to resemble something I don't recall.

Does anyone remember what these two limited production Corvettes were/are?

Thanks but I don't think it is.

I remember seeing both being announce together about six, seven months ago. I just have to go back and look at the old Vette magazines that I keep in New Jersey. They were in at least two articles.

I am sort of day dreaming. I have an '06 convertible that I really like. Have done a few mods and plan more for next Spring like CAI, Throttle Body, LT headers, Cam and Heads. At the same time, I remember those two limited edition Vettes and thought at the time that they were really cool looking.

I go through this every three or four years. Same as when I bought the '02 and then the '06. I just have to ease into it so my wife won't kill me.
Each time I tell her that it is the last Corvette but then the itch starts.
 
Wow that GT1 is amazing. I have always loved the commemorative editions of the racing series. My first vette purchase hopefull by the end of this year will be the 2004 lemans blue edition. After that one is paid off in 5yrs maybe I can get a yellow GT1 to add to the collection.
