Thanks ill give him a call next week, just out of curiosity what does he charge for a detail. I called some random people and prices where $400 tha'ts a lot out of my price range.
Ignore this I found his website.
I believe Rob of "Car Arts Auto Detailing" may cover the Tampa area. See his web site and call him for mor information. I've seen his work, it is great.

Rob was who I used the last 2 times. I contacted him and he told me he sold the biz and is no longer detailing. His work was amazing.
:rofl1k, you're ignored:rofl1:
Most good detailers are going to be a bit pricey. Equiptment and supplies are expensive. And the only thing they have to sell, other than thier skills, is thier time. It's one car, one hour at a time.
I don't know what he charges. Last time I spoke with him about it, it depended on the amount of detail you wanted, what you wanted detailed and the car.
See what he says. Tell him I sent you. It may not help, but it may not hurt?
...Didn't mean to preach but you really do get what you pay for. BTW, the full day over 8 hours of work what would normally be about 400 bucks was 250 because he takes care of my cars and know him for years. He got a 50 buck tip and it was worth every penny! He also details the engine!

Any one have a good mobile detailer or shop in Tampa area. I have a 89 vette.
hey there guno89! this response might be late already, but if you still need a mobile detailer, you can check out Detailxperts. They have an auto detail shops in Tampa and Detroit. And the're really good
You can visit their website to see more information.![]()
You need soap to properly wash a car without inducing marring. Steam doesn't emulsify the dirt.
if this was true, how come their steam cleaning method is patent-pending (as is stated in the website)? and the founder seems to know what he's doing (see his bio in the about us section - think it's impressive).
i think using steam to clean not only your car but also your house is a great way to save water. and even if CrisR is promoting own company, so what? the post answers to the question and gives useful info, isn't it?
smile and good luck! :dancer01:
