So we got a call from a guy who was in Iraq fighting the war interested in the work we did in June 2009 Corvette Fever a month or 2 ago with our LS3 power play article in it.
He is a military intelligence officer (pretty high up)and just ordered a BRAND NEW Corvette and wanted the exact same thing done to his car as we did in the article.
He called me quite a few times from Iraq asking different questions about exhaust and wheels etc. Anyway NICE NICE guy always happy SUPER excited to get home and drive his car off the dealership lot and SUPER excited to get it Xtreme'd out by us.
So he comes to drop his car off yesterday ...he is from North Ga.
He is so excited he is shaking, he shook Chris' hand and told him how excited he was to be home and how excited he was to have his car and how he couldnt help but shake because he was so excited about what was about to happen to his car.
Anyhow then he pulls out this American flag and a certificate and hands it to Chris and you know what it was??????........
A flag that was flown over Baghdad !!!! It was certified, signed put in a certificate holder and all ....and at the bottom it said
"In appreciation of Xtreme Motorsports"
I thought I was gonna cry...I really did.... I mean how many people actually get something like that !!??!
We really have the most awesome customers who are loyal and just got out of their way for us but this gift was one of the most touching and honorable gifts we could possibly get !!!!!
I really wanted to share that with you all because I just couldnt believe someone who HAD NEVER met us would go that far to show how much he really appreciates us!!!!
I talked to him 8-9 times when he was in Iraq and everytime he called I knew his voice,he never had to tell me who it was.
We are so honored to have that kind of relationship with out customers !!!
It really makes our job feel worth it even more !!!!!
