During the Lonestar cruise-in, i was asked about my accident, and how i came across a new vette at my age.

6 months ago was driving home from class, when an older gentlemen in a rv decided my lane looked better. I moved over to avoid being hit but one i hit the wet grass, lost control of the car, ended up going through a ditch and slamming into a tree headon at 50mph. Dont remember much, dont really like to remember either. Between 10 days in the hospital and two recontructive surgeries, i was in for broken left arm, shattered left ankle/shin, broke some toes, dislocated and almost lost 3 toes on right foot, bruised left lung and heart. i shouldnt even be alive but guess it wasnt my time. But for what i was in and how im doing now id have to say im doing good. won a lawsuit and decided i wanted a nice car with power, but also had to have a reliable auto tranny(no clutch foot for atleast another year). found my car on carmax, and it was a done deal. now for the pics. couple before and after pics from my accident.

Man............. I'm amazed you are still breating after that crash. Someone upstairs had to be looking out for you that day.

Glad you survived it. Thanks for sharing that experience. Probably pretty tough for you to even look at the photos.....

Im slowly getting over them. But its hard to explain how bad of shape the car was without pictures. usually end up saying im sure someone out there has a new mini fridge cause of me.

Jeeze, that little Chrysler is a mess. Very glad it had enough crumple zones to keep you alive.

I think you're right, it just wasn't your time. Glad it wasn't. Recover well and completely.

Good Lord........Speachless.............very blessed in deed

Only one being could ever have saved your life from an impact as your pic's clearly indicate. Your one lucky and blessed person for sure.
How old are you may I ask?

Hi Corey, It was great to finally meet you at the show last night. You shared your story last night but the pics today really hit home the impact this has had on your young life. I can relate to your story because I had an accident when I was 17,(I was shot in the abdomen by a burglar), which changed my life forever. You definitely look at life differently when you have a life changing event like yours and mine!
I thank you for sharing your story and I hope you will use your time and circumstance in a positive way. God does have a plan and a purpose for you. I think you'll find that you 'll be more compassionate and empathetic to the misfortune of others.
Please keep in touch and I hope to see you at one of the local events soon.:thumbsup:

hey bro, nice to meet you last night, great looking vette and soon you will heal and all will be well, then we can go out and cause some real caos:thumbsup:

Man! Looks almost identical to my 76 Toyota corola in 76 when I ended up w/broken back, neck, colar bone, every rib on my left & 3 on my right, crushed left knee & leg bone & was popping glass out of my face for a year. That crash made me a seat belt wearer for life! We went head-on (I was a passenger) into a 69 Chrysler imperial in a snow storm....3 died in the imperial. You were blessed for sure!

It was nice meeting everyone at last nights event as well. And ill definitely look out for more local events to go to.
