If any of you are traveling along route 98 in the eastern panhandle area, and want to pick up some of the best fresh seafood you can find anywhere, be sure to stop in at My Way Seafood in Panacea. I've been buying seafood from them exclusively since I moved here 15 years ago. My wife goes there on Wednesdays to help out and comes home with dinner for the next several days. It's a family owned business and Debbie Logan does a hell of a job with it. She won't buy junk from the fishermen, always makes sure it is fresh, and will make sure you get the best seafood money can buy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

And no, she isn't paying me to say this. Although maybe I could get a few dozen blue crabs from her for it................ Born and raised in Baltimore, steamed blue crabs is about the best there is as far as I am concerned for seafood.

Definitely would be worth while to be packing a cooler and picking up some good eats to cook up when you get home. They are definitely the tops in this area.

I saw a deep sea charter boat over Ft. Myers Beach crunching up blue crabs for chum! :eek: They know not what they do.

Man glad I didn't see that. I would demand that my trial be held in Maryland where I would get a fair hearing. :)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....seafood....... [where's the drool smiley Rich!!?]

Yeah man! The wife brought home a couple dozen live blue crabs last weekend and steamed them up for me. I was in hog heaven. Then we had steamed shrimp a few days here and there this past week.

Tonight it is popcorn and a movie for dinner........ Been a busy day.
