I have been a customer of NakidParts.com for a couple of years. In that time, I purchased engine caps, battery cover, fuse box cover, decals and most recently NPP in a Box for my NPP mufflers.
Nakidparts has been kicked-off the Corvette Forum and lost a big part of their advertising. I met Ed from NakidParts earlier this year at the Atlantic City Corvette show and proved to be a real nice honest person. During my purchases, he has always been very helpful and sell excellent quality items.

First I would like to thank you for being a customer of www.nakidparts.com. Having started our business from a passion for the best parts for our corvette has helped us provide the highest quality parts and unparallel customer service to you. Recently we were banned as a vendor on the corvette forum. Although we are regarded as one of the best vendors with outstanding customer service going back to 2005, Internet Brands (company that purchased the forum last year) called and terminated our membership. (more at the bottom)

The loss of our main advertising venue and poor car sales has affected many companies and ours is not exempt. Recently I brought on my son Eric (was sonofdreams on the forum) full time to help with the business, but timing could not be worse to have our main venue pulled out from under us. Mainly I ask that you support our #1 product Mild2Wild, it's the best selling and only original exhaust controller.

I would ask that you do what you can to support our company and tell your fellow club members and vette owners about our products and services. You are our best advertising I could ask for and I just wanted to thank you in advance for the many customers you have sent our way. If you know of any corvette service center or parts reseller that should be reselling our mild2wild, get them to sign up.

The only thing we ever were = A passionate corvette owner that loved the car and wanted to share our mods and passion for the car. It sparked a business and the opportunity to meet many great owners with the same passion we had. We always treated people fairly and basically the same way I would have expected to be treated. But being the "nice" guy does not always work and some people are unethical, rip you off and just are not nice people. I will never regret standing up and defending the 100% unique products we developed or our time on the forum. I ask that you please do what you can to support us and our company (and our resellers) and products by telling fellow club members and owners of our products and service. When you think exhaust controllers think the first and original MILD2WILD and NPP in a Box 100% developed by us.

I believe it has to do with another business coming into the Forum a year or so ago copying the Mild2Wild and NPP in a Box that Ed developed. This business has some kind of tie into the company that bought the Corvette Forum and Ed got kicked-off.
 
Absolutely top notch products and service. I was shocked to see he was forced to leave CF. He is quite the innovator. I especially love his exhaust tips polishing kit and the 8 hp air dryer and blower. Thanks a million to Ed for his devotion and cool inventions for the CORVETTE!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
Wow they truley have some great stuff, and their rep is awesome. I wouldn't worry about that advertising. word of mouth is better!
 
I approached them about advertising here, but I guess we aren't big enough to attract them... :shrug01:
 
I have done business with these folks and they always treated me right.
Concerning getting the boot.
There is another business on the other forum who happens to be my
friend. Everything was just fine until the take-over. The next thing--
my friend is terminated with out explanation and He Cant get hold
of anybody ( no returned calls or e-mails) Finally he was able to get
back in touch with them. It turns out it is all about GREED.
They wanted more money--Alot more.
Because of my friends good name and business he collected off the
site ----He paid up.
He did nothing wrong it's all about money.
Very sad and it says alot about the site.

Unfortunatly most things are about money...Before I buy anything on line I check out the vender, complaints, as well as great things that vender has done for for people on the site...We can't control what the site owners do, however we can control who we purchase from...JMHO...
