The day of my first Corvette has arrived, this Friday. The anticipation is killing me and I am getting impatient. Black coupe, 2LT, Paddle Shift, NPP Exhaust, and Z51. My seven year old grandson is more hyped up than I am. Friday will be good. Will be riding in style around Largo this weekend, making a trip to the Flashman. Finally feel like a real part of this forum and can speak from experience, not hopes and dreams.
 
Do you care to show it off on sat morning at the duPont Cars and Coffee show? Bring your grandson...he'll love it...

I would really like to see your new car...we arrive about 7am and leave around 9 am or after...free, and alot of different cars and great folks...just off Ulmerton...near the Bob Evans and McDonalds...

I've had the opportunity to take delivery of a new Vett and I feel you pain.Thank god mine was delivered two weeks ahead of schedule.I can't imagine the anxiety your going thru.
Those BG workers have built a special car just for you.I know from experience they appreciate ya.

Congratulations on the new C6. The flashman will surely take care of you. He has great products.
You will need to supply some pictures as soon as you can.

Thanks for all of the replies. Exotic Auto is bringing it down from Dearborn and arriving tomorrow at my work. Everyone is as excited as I am and comes one day after my 57th birthday. Tomorrow should be a great day. Thanks again for all of the replies.

Car arrived today and in Corvette heaven. Exceeded my expectations with Exotic Auto and Les Stanford. Wasn't sure if I would like the grey split spoke wheels, but to me they look awesome. The NPP sounds awesome, the z51 ride isn't bad at all. Can't wait to pick up my grandson after school today. thanks for all of the good wishes and replies.

I know how hard it was to pull yourself to post.Isn't it great?No feeling like it.When I pick up my Grandson after school his eyes light up.:crazy03:

CONGRATS!!!! There are no words to explain the feeling seeing that car show up in your driveway!!! It will be your new "baby" I am sure.

Enjoy your new ride. I know what it is like with your grandson. I to am lucky and mine only live about 5 minutes away, and he loves it when I pick him up in the vette. I remember when I went with him to school one day for grandparents day. He made sure he told his teacher that his papa picked him up in his red Corvette.
Don't let the rain stop you, I promise it will not melt, plus you get the fun of cleaning it up tomorrow.
