• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Hi everyone.

I forgot my manners and just jumped in and posted.

I should say that my wife and I bought a Y2K coupe about a month ago and are enjoying it very much. It was in great shape when I got it, but I read about Zaino and had to do it. Once you get into it, it moves along preety well, not hard at all and the results are fantastic! It hard to see on a white car, but the finish is the best I've seen anywhere.

My last Corvette was back in 78, it was also white and a coupe. Big difference between that stingray and the c5 (to me the most beautiful car in the world!). Ever since I saw the my first one back in 98, I've wanted one.

Good to see a FL forum, once I get used to it and get familiar with some Corvette related activities, I will join in. My wife and I are going to the Ponce LH this weekend (our first event) and I plan on taking some pictures to post. Hope to meet some of you there.

Steve

Good to have you on board. I hope we can get the window tinting question answered for you soon. I'm on the west coast so I wouldn't be much help I'm afraid. Someone posted in your thread of a person that does tinting over this way (area code 727), but that could be a long way to drive for a tinting. Good luck with that. Again, welcome:wavey: ..............Tom

:welcome: Yeah! It's a pretty great feeling to set out a welcome mat and people actually come in the door. Hopefully this will turn out to be just a great place for everyone to hang out. I'm going to try my best to make it so.

Welcome to the site. We'd like to see some pics of your Vette. Most of us are guys....we're visual creatures by nature. :D
