Hello everybody!

Allow me to introduce myself :wavey:

I am Erik Cederberg, Operations Manager and Co-owner at South Florida's newest and most elite domestic performance shop, Torq.

I was born and raised in The US, but for the past 6 years have lived in various countries in Europe. My Girlfriend and I just recently moved here to sunny SoFlo from Sweden and are loving it!

I am also a road racer at heart, and started racing at the early age of 8 on go-carts. I have since raced in various series and classes, for example the 3000-mile road race "La Carrera Pan Americana" in Mexico (2nd place first year, 1st place 2nd time around), various endurance races and not to forget in a GT-class at the infamous track that they call "The Green Hell", aka The Nurburgring.

I have a 2004 C16 Z06, fully built for the Road Course, a 1965 Corvette Roadster also built for the track, and I just bought a 2010 Camaro 2SS which is being built as we speak.

Stay tuned!

/Erik

Here is my 65 Stingray, my father passed away last year and he left it for me to take care of. We built it for road racing, and raced it twice in the 2500 mile La Carrera Pan Americana Road Rally down i Mexico. We came in 2nd the first year, and won the 2nd time so this baby is a keeper!

wow those are some amazing pics. Of course I am partial to the z16 but the new camaro is cool too and the corvette race car is amazing. I would love to learn some more of the history behind it.

I love my Z16, even though it is heavily modded I have saved all the parts for it and everything is reversable. I started modding it at 300miles so everything is like new, includings seats.

We bought the 65 back in 03 when we first raced in the La Carrera, it had been built and raced in the same race by the previous owner (Located in Cali) who in turn bought it in stock matching number state. It was completlely re-done by our Mechanic (a Corvette guru in PA) and all parts are saved as well, motor, interior, convertible top etc. I plan to race it in The La Carrera in the future when budget permits, and try and do some more vintage racing with it. The car came in first place with the previous owner, 2nd and then 1st place with us behind the wheel so it is definitely a winner, and I will try to keep it that way ;)

This is down in Mexico at one of the toll booths, the car backfired and the fuel ignited the airfilter and hood. Lucky the truckers dumped like 10 frikkin tubes on the car..and me...
