Here is the OEM wheel specs for both the C5, C6 and C7:

Offset/Backspacing dimensions are as follows:

C4
Front (84-87) 16x8.5", 36 or 38mm offset = 6.16" backspace
Front (88-96) 17x8.5", 58mm offset = 7.03" backspace
Front (88-96) 17x9.5", 54mm offset = 7.37" backspace
Rear (84-87) 16x8.5", 36 or 38mm offset = 6.16" backspace
Rear (90-95 ZR1) 17x11", 36mm offset = 7.41" backspace
Rear (90-95 GS) 17x11", 50mm offset = 7.96" backspace

Front 17x8.5", 58mm offset = 7.03" backspace
Rear 18x9.5" 65mm offset = 7.81" backspace

C5 Z06:
Front 17x9.5", 54mm offset = 7.38" backspace

Offset is the distance from the center of a wheel to its mounting flange. EXAMPLE: 10" wide wheel, a zero offset would be 5.00". + is moving the wheel inward and - means moving the wheel outward from center.

backspacing is how many inches from where the wheel mounting flange to the car all the way inward.
