Pacing Traffic

Was on the Suncoast today heading south in Pasco. Noticed one of those portable flashing DOT signs saying "Traffic Pacing starting 6-2-08". Just wondering if anybody knows just what they were trying to tell me?:confused:
 
I hope you figure it out before you get a citation for not doing it........ :lmao:
 
Never heard that one before..... Unless it is when the police cars get in a line and drive slower with their overhead lights on,,,, Otherwise known as a rolling road block. Usually used in construction jobs.....
 
Thay have a sign on the Howard Frankland bridge saying the same thing. And they say thay are doing it in the middle of the night.

I also wonder what the heck they are talking about.
 
Since no one seemed to be sure I did a little google searching. Z06Rocket had it right. It's just basically a rolling road block in order to move construction equipment.
