Pro Tree

.007, .006, .004 and 4 DNQ's :nonod: I wish it would give the the negative time so you could see just how "red" you went instead of just the DNQ
It's fun, thanks for posting it!

I have my-own 18+ year-old practice-tree that I use regularly when I am bracket-racing:

the small eyelet/hooks are used to suspend the tree from the rear-view mirror, via small bungee-straps, simulating runs being made in the Left lane, or visor-support for Right-lane simulations.

A very useful tool, most 'serious' bracket-racers use this, and it has helped me win more-than-my fair-share of races, Class Championships, and money.

Nice tree, I could see spending many hours sitting in front of it practicing. Did you make it or buy it ?

I bought that tree in either '87 or '88 from a legendary bracket-racer, who often wrote columns in a bracket-racing magazine, named Sam Biondo, who's sons Sal & Peter, are also deadly bracket-racers:
Biondo sold practice trees manufactured by a company named THORN MicroSystems, which has since closed-shop, and Biondo now sells his-own trees and practice-tools

I also have a Biondo-brand tree, but use the older tree at the track, sitting in the car, strapped-in, belts & helmet-on, between rounds, staying as sharp as I can:
competitors think I'm a 'goober', or a 'piker', because I don't use a Biondo-tree, and I try to use their over-confidence against them if I can.

I saw on TV John Force practicing on one similar to that before a race

Regardless if they admit it or-not, ALL those guys have a practice-tree (how-much they USE it is another matter ), except for maybe Warren Johnson, and if you ever saw his lights, it'd be obvious to you.....
:o :ahh: :bang:

You can adjust these practice trees to various roll-out settings (the time it might take your car to clear the beams ), practice with either 4/10 PRO-tree or 5/10 SPORTSMEN tree, use either a button (to simulate a trans-brake switch ) or foot-pedal, and can be run off AC or DC power-source.
