Thanks I have a set of rhino's from my previous car i will try your suggestion and it will save me alot of money. thanks again.zzzona said:You can purchase these at Advanced Auto or most auto parts stores. They come in black or grey. The gray ones are the best to handle the wide tires. Put a 2x6..or 2x8 in front and you can drive up without any problem...

Hi rich, concrete or slabs of heavy duty plywood should help.Rich Z said:Actually I've been looking at a set offered by Ecklers that look pretty nice, but expensive ($300!)......

Only problem is that I don't have a hard surface to put these things on and they will have to be on hard packed sand that is under my car port.
But I can see where it would be handy having them around. I was trying to touch up some rust spots on my turbo housings and there wasn't any way I could get to the back of them (these are rear mounted STS units, btw) with the car sitting on the ground. Raising the car just a foot in the back would have made a world of difference.
Safety, Safety, Safety always have a backup. Pea gravel moves, we need your wisdom, I do not care what the builders of the ramps say. You can do it 1000 times but 1 time is all it takes! Always remember your life first.Rich Z said:Well bear in mind that these ramps I am getting are alread 14" wide, and 67" long. They are closed on the bottom and will have substantial surface area on the ground.....
I just ordered me a set 67" plus roll ups.Rich Z said:Actually my driveway is hardpacked sandy soil. No gravel or stones at all.....
