OK, I've seen the posts that list what CD's people are listening to, but I very seldom listen to a CD. I've only got 2 CD's in my entire collection that I like ALL of the songs on, so I do most of my listening thru an ipod. I've got different playlists for jogging, cruising, slightly exceeding the speed limit, turning twisty roads into straight ones, cutting the grass, driving in the rain, and the list goes on and on and on. So anyone that uses an ipod (or other MP3 player) chime in with a list. Tell us what's on it, and when you listen to it. For straight out cruising down the interstate, here's mine for right now........it changes from time to time..........:yesnod:

Old Time Rock And Roll - Bob Seger
The Fire Down Below - Bob Seger
Katmandu - Bob Seger
Rock And Roll Never Forgets - Bob Seger
My Best Friend's Girl - The Cars
Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revibal
Tombstone Shadow - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Crossroads - Cream
Victim Of Love - The Eagles
Busy Being Fabulous - The Eagles
How Long - The Eagles
Waiting In The Weeds - The Eagles
Tequila Sunrise - The Eagles
Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown - Jim Croce
Operator - Jim Croce
Gunslinger - John Fogerty
Creedence Song - John Fogerty
Long Dark Night - John Fogerty
I Can't Take It No More - John Fogerty
Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
Lawyers, Guns, and Money - Warren Zevon
Werewolves Of London - Warren Zevon
Dirty Life And Times - Warren Zevon

That's good for about 3 or 4 months, then it'll get changed.
Sometimes I use this one while I'm being a good boy and taking my daily walk as well.

You guys that use CD's.........do you burn CD's with favorites on them to use while in the car????? Those count too! Bring 'em ON!

It's funny, I used to be a person who only like one or two songs on each cd. I can't tell you how much money I spent years ago for one song. What a waste. I know my music tastes have definitely changed over the years and they have also expanded. I can listen to just about any type of music with the exception of most country. I can tolerate pop/country crossover stuff. That being said, I usually like almost every song on every disc from every band. Weird.

The stuff I listen to most often leans toward the heavier side of Rock/Metal/NuMetal/Grunge/Thrash.

Chevelle
Korn
Linkin Park
Marilyn Manson
Killswitch Engage
Halestorm
System of a Down
Twisted Method
Bury Your Dead
10 Years
Trivium
Twin Method
Static-X
Rage Against the Machine
Motorhead
Metallica
Anthrax
Led Zeppelin
Chickenfoot
The Used
Bullet For My Valentine
Atreyu
Ill Nino
Slipknot
Foo Fighters

On the lighter side:
Michael Buble
Kelly Clarkson
The Black Keys (Awesome Blues Duo)
Harry Connick, Jr.
All American Rejects
Kings of Leon
Katy Perry

Trance/Breakbeat/Techno music as well. I won't list them. I'd be surprised if most of the members know 10% of the heavier music. :rofl1:

I must be gettin old I have no idea who those bands are???

Its from the 70s 80s and early 90s they are all psychobilly bands. Just like Johnny Cash' psychobilly Cadillac (that man didnt know what he was starting when he said that).
Its basically 50s style stuff with a little more modern added to it, Some of it just silly and makes you happy. and Billy Joe was one of the original outlaw country stars a time back

I have now switched c.d.s and Im listening the Johnny Brunette Trio, Thats my favorite, and he is from the 50s.

John Fogerty, Queen, Beatles, Beach Boys, Bonnie Rait, Daniel Castro, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Franki Valli and the Four Seasons, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Grand Funk Railroad, James Gang, Jimmy Buffett, Joe Walsh, John Mellencamp, Rose Royce, Seal, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Styx, Taj Mahal, Wishbone Ash, and ZZ Top.
I either add to my list through ITunes or copy songs from CD.
