So Who Would You Like To See On The Ticket In Nov?

Although i'd like to see McCain and Huckabee...

I wonder if it's going to be McCain and Lieberman for the Republican ticket?.:shrug01:

As far as the Democrat ticket...Let's just hope it doesn't come to that!:hehehe::hide:

I would like to see a conservative but that’s not going to happen.

Either Clinton, Obama, McCain or Romney will be in the oval office next year and in four years we’ll have socialized healthcare, amnesty, carbon credits and higher taxes. Your kids are going to love it

I'd like to see some sort of change. As much as we can't afford what you describe above, we can't continue along the path this administration is leading us either:(

Either way, we're broke, depleted and endangered in another 4-6 years:(

Anyone really capable of making a change will NEVER get into office. The elections are all just a feel good exercise.....

I don't think that anyone capable will NEVER get into office, ..I think it is more likely that anyone capable of making a change will never RUN for the presidency. We don't get qualified candidates to even consider running for office, so we have garbage to select from on the tickets, regardless of party. Have you ever asked yourself why the CEOs of major corporations, that typically have the skill to manage organizations of tremendous size, be fiscally responsible and have to satisfy Wall Street, ...don't want any part of Pennsylvania Avenue? They make significantly more money than the President and have less public scrutiny than people in public office. Plus they would have to deal with the mentally challenged that have been elected to the House and Senate.

So we are stuck with the candidates that each party throws at us. How can we expect these people to fix our problems when it normally does not affect them individually? As an example, how can we expect them to fix the Social Security system, when they are not a part of it? They have a retirement program that is not part of Social Security. Eliminate that retirement system and take those funds and put it into the Social Security system (yea I know it's a drop in the bucket). Place them into the current system that max's out the benefit just like everyone else. Then maybe you will see something happen.

It is a shame that every election we have to vote for someone that we may think is the least of all evils.

Ok, guys, I will throw my hat into the ring now....

If elected President of this great land, I will first:

1. Put everyone back to work (whether they want to or not) cause welfare will no longer exist.

2. The immigration problem will no longer exist cause if you do not register, you will be deported.

3. Our seniors and disabled vets will be fully provided for

4. No income tax - just flat tax

5. Healthcare for everyone

6. Everyone will have at least 16 years of education

7. All crimes will be dealt with swiftly and their will be capital punishment

8. We will WIN war in Iraq within 6 months

And if there is anything left to give, then we will offer our help elsewhere...

Armando, you have all of my votes and I think Shadow would make a great VP.

I would like a Cabinet Post: Secretary of Labor.

My mission statemant would be..

We need to make "Made in America" mean something again. Let's bring Industry and Production back to the United States of America.

Sincerely,

Joe B.

I would say eliminate the entire party system. It creates a conflict of interest. The only people need to pay attention to are their constituents, NOT what the party bosses. If we consider that the opposite of "independent" is "dependent" then that is telling you something right there. Party members are DEPENDENT on the party.

They ALL should be independent or any other influence except the people who voted them into office............

The only businessman who tried it, that I can recall, was Ross Perot. Seems like he had the business qualifications but not much else.:shrug01:
