Spare Tire

Hi All,
I'm going to my first autocross (Tune and Test) event next Saturday.
I have done a bunch of bracket drag racing back a few years ago and that is a different animal. How would removing the spare tire effect how the back end turns? In straight line racing I would probably leave it hanging to help plant the tires.

Nothing. Keeping it on may actually help keep some weight over the rear tires. You also want to run a full tank of fuel.
