Had a thought? I've been looking for something a little "different" for the rear of my 87.

Don't want a "wing" low profile or otherwise.

I've been looking at this for quite a while:

http://www.acivette.com/popup_images/GTO_REAR_PGK_84-90_AGK024.jpg

(Go to the ACI home page, go to C4 section, click on wings and look near the bottom for the AFW220 GTO wing)

It's from the ACI fiberglass catalog. It's a repro of the Callaway rear spoiler used on the Areobody.

Quite by accident, I had the opportunity to see one in real life yesterday in Titusville. It was on a primered 87-88. The first thing I that came to mind?

Damn!! That thing is freakin' huge!!!

But, I still like the basic design. Here's what I was wondering?

I'd like to pare down the shape. Reduce the top to bottom height by almost half, maybe a little less, then reduce the center section down a bit more. The idea is here:

(again, go to the site, click on gallery, C4 section and you'll find the yellow C4 with it installed)

or think of the new Mustang Rousch rear spoiler

Can any of the photoshoppers here possibly help me see what the final product would look like?

BTW-If anyone can convert those links to pics, feel free to do so.
