on occasion when i start up my c5 theres a skueeking noise. sounds like a little belt slipping. well i changed the belt to a gatorback and thought that
was it. but this morning the squeek started again. ive noticed it generally comes back after its rained or high humidity. it goes away within a minute or so. i cant hear it when im driving. just stopped. its got to be something building up a little rust. ill be under the hood this weekend, just looking for some sugested areas or see if anyone else has had similiar trouble.

:thumbsup:That would be my guess too!!I've replaced allot of those bearings!! There not expensive,and not hard to do!! the small bearing in the upper one is around 5-$8.00 and the larger bearing is 20-$25.00 depending where you get them!! There just standard alternator bearings,small one is a 203 and the larger one is a 303!!:thumbsup:
