I would like to go to the races but not sure where safe parking my be. I don't want to enjoy the racing while someone could be breaking into my car.
Never been and live in Largo. Looking for tips, thanks in advance.

It's hard to say. It is St Pete afterall, and we all know that the Mayor would NEVER,,,,NEVER allow thieves to roam his over taxed streets now would he. It's actually too bad that there is no Corvette Corral planned at St Pete this year like last year because that was a good place to park. I think I will be leaving the Vette at home this year if I have to park who knows where....

Last week I received an email from an IMSA official stating it was GM who decided to pull the plug as mentioned in other posts on this topic.
Since I only own the Vette, I will be passing on the St Pete race, due to parking
On Corvette Forum Lou Gigliotti said all Vette owners all welcome to stop by his spot and he'll have a show and tell and a walk around his GT2 Car

I can't wait for the St. Pete race. I'll probably take my truck. Heading to Sebring Thursday...it's my favorite time of the year!

I am leaving the vette at home and taking the SUV. It is to bad the GM pulled out because the Corral was nice last year. If you can find a place on the street near the track that is fine, but they normally have parking at the dome and free bus service to and from the track. That has been the best so far, with the exception of last year.

I guess it wouldn't be bad to park at the dome. Just pull in and park close to the parking attendants booth and there will be an automatic "guard" to keep anyone from messing with your car.
