For STS 133 and Space Shuttle Discovery's last mission, Payload Specialist Tim Kopra will be replaced by Steve Bolin. This is not expected to affect the launch schedule which opens the window for 24 Feb 2011. It will require some equipment change-out in the orbiter. Tentative rollout is scheduled for 31 January 2011. All dates are TENTATIVE! Do not plan using the dates listed...more to come!

I predict that China will take the lead in the near future or possibly Japan .Their younger generation is much better educated in science and math .India is also on the education role.:thumbsdown:

Lastest from the Space Center...

When OV103 (Discovery) goes back to the pad, on the evening of the 31st of January, there are NO plans for any photo ops the next morning of the 1st of February, so there is no need for the RSS to remain back for photos as this was accomplished during the first rollout back in the fall of 2010. The next opportunity, if allowed, will be upon the rollout of Endeavours' last flight scheduled for flight late April.
