Planning is underway for the next SSSACC chapter event. Bill Herron has volunteered to be the point man for the effort and current plans are to hold a technical session at his Garage Mahal/Motorhead Lodge in Sarasota on Friday afternoon May 6 with supper afterwards at Dino’s Pizza. He has lined up a historically significant and rarely seen solid axel car to be on his lift for all to examine in detail during the tech session. On Saturday, 7 May, we will caravan to and participate in the Skyway Corvette Club fun show at St Armand’s Circle, with dinner and a cruise night at Hooter’s afterwards. Then on Sunday morning we caravan to the Muscle Car City Museum. After visiting the museum and lunch at their 50s diner, we start the journey home. The host motel (the AmericInn of Sarasota, 5931 Fruitville Road) is right at exit 210 off I-75 near Bill’s.
