Tampa area C6 needed for transmission tune

thinking it was going to rain all day,
I spent a couple hours this afternoon going through my advanced HP Tuners book and setting up a step by step C6 automatic 6 speed transmission tune. I enhanced the shift points, shift pressure, shift speed, etc and reduced the torque mangement modes.

There are over 400 transmission setting in the 6 speed autos. Thank god you only have enhance about 170 tables. :eek:

I need a 2005-2007 C6 to see if its a good baseline tranny tune to start from.

I went pretty much middle of the road when adding percentages to the tables

You say you changed 170 tables? For just the tranny? Didn't you start with a good baseline tune?

Sorry so many questions but I've used HP Tuners for about 5 years now and I'm trying to figure out what 170 tables could have been changed.

Are you aware that HP Tuners has a repository with a lot of tunes?

if you look at the newer A6 transmission, there are over 400 tables availible for reconfigure as they appear in HP tuners.


Yes I download a stock 2007 C6 A6 6 speed transmission from HPT, and enhanced that stock tune. Once I counted ALL the tables changed, it was about 170.


The A4s are very easy to enhance and are very differant than the A6 transmission

Man, I don't want to even think about all those settings. So exactly what is it you need? I can probably get it from a tuner friend.
