Yes....I had a nice time meeting a few other Corvetters. We all were talking about alot of other stuff, rather than Corvettes and it makes for a nice change of pace. I left alittle early, it was a school night.:lmao:

When I left some Guy with his girlfriend decided he wanted a piece of the "Zee". He had a 2007 Black (Stock) paddle shift. Had him from the light to 105 MPH on Anderson. :hehehe: Then as I pulled forth in the Clutch stuck to the floor. We met at the night light and agreed that I cleaned his clock. I think we are due for a new clutch soon. :ack2:

Any suggestions on a New "Zee" Clutch from you experts???
(TYPE and MODEL NUMBER)

:hehehe: Jim :hehehe:

Jim,

to be honest with you the stock Z06 clutch is probably the best bet for the driving you do. There was alot of talk about going to the C6Z06 clutch (LS7) but with that you need a new slave and some other stuff plus they say it glazes pretty easy. Both of us have the Z06 clutch in our cars and we are doing fine....mine has held up extremely well even with the blower 460rwhp/489 tq.

I can hook you up with a good vendor who will beat anyones price on the clutch...lemme know :)

Jim,

Try replacing your clutch fluid. This is a common problem caused by dirty fluid. I think there is a thread or two about it in the Maintenance section....

Robert, if you don't mind, please put it on the calendar for next month. If you want, since this is a monthly event, I can make it a sticky in the events section as the month approaches as well. Let me know?

Glamcem, check the calendar. Events should be there. I'll try to make sure all events are noted if you guys will pm me the information when you get it:thumbsup:

as soon as I know where etc I will post it.....I am currently reviewing a few places. I have criteria such as price, parking and the ability for the place to serve us in a timely fashion. Parking is high on my list.

My clutch stuck for a long long time. Then I noticed a big difference in the clutch pedal, so I knew the clutch was bad.

After the new Z06 Clutch, the pedal still sticks :shrug01:
It stuck Wed night to be exact...
then something fell on my foot

yeah I think it was that clutch return spring that alot of people removed...as long as it is driving ok.......

Thanks bro. With Richies death and the work load, it's just been a long damned week:( By the time I got home, and looked at my paperwork, I just couldn't drag my butt out the door!

Had my buddy/employees wake tonight (funeral is tomorrow) and it really makes you think.

I promise, I'll try to make the next Tampa one...it's been too long...

Take care ladies and gents:wavey::thumbsup:
