I purchased my first corvette about 2 months ago she's a nice blue C-5 model (2002) 70,000 miles on her .
picked her up at a car dealership after doing many months of searching over the web.
got a good price also she was traded in for a bigger vehicle from a older gent.
clean car fax,etc.
well I looked it over good and drove it before buying her everything seemed stock and standard except I was extremely impressed by how fast she was.
plant you in the seat fast !
well after about a month of ownership I had a new friend look at her, he's a Corvette aficionado and has owned several vettes after he heard it crank and popped the hood he said I had a couple of thousand dollars worth of performance upgrades.
a bigger air-box & bridge, different throttle body, stainless steel headers w/ larger dual exhaust out the back with no cats.
I thought the car was stock, I new the LS1 was fast but this explains faster (LOL) guess I got a better deal than I thought.
