C6 Too Old to Learn?

This might sound dumb but I have been kicking around thoughts about taking a course in engine performance/building. I am retired from the financial industry, 66 yrs old and have some time on my hands.
I can turn a wrench, worked in a gas stations while in high school (took an auto shop class) and have worked on my cars through the years (nothing major but not afraid of getting my hands dirty).
Anyone aware of on/line courses?
Am I nuts? :shrug01::eek:
