Getting warning light "low fuel" nothing showing on fuel gadge when tank is over half fuel. Dealer replaced side tank module due to code P1431. A few weeks same thing again. Anyone else have this problem?:shrug01:

Where do you buy your gas? C-5's are notorious for fuel quantity issues. Something to do with the sulfur content of various fuels. I had this problem whenever I bought gas at Shell. Switched to either Texaco or Chevron with Techron and the problem went away. Might be something to consider.:yesnod:

I carry 6 bottles of Chevron Techron Plus in my C5's as a precaution!!
I normally run Chevron or Texaco gas all the time in All my vehicles and have no problems, unless I happen to get some fuel with 10% ethanol or use other brands,My gauge will start screwing up within 3-4 tanks!! 1 / 12 oz bottle to a Fill up and the gauge will start working within a hour or so!!

Chevron don't have 10% ethanol up here in the Carolinas,I did notice some Chevrons has it down there in Florida my last Trip!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Yeah, I've been seeing about every gas station posting the warning about 10% ethanol. Chevron was one of the last to switch over....

I haven't seen any problems with the Chevron high test gas with Techron and 10% ethanol. Still getting 21-22 in town and 26-27 mpg on highway. Engine runs smooth too.

Last winter I traveled all over the southeast and I can tell ya Florida fuel was the worse .Ethanol will be mandatory in ever part of this country soon and it sucks.
