C3 Underhood Autometer Gauges

Since I replaced the stock hood with a high rise cowl during my recent paint color change job there is a wealth of new found space for more gauges that wouldn't fit inside. Since I already installed the wiper cowl cover that gave me something to work with and fabricate everything else. Since the location of the gauges is closer to eye level I used the green bulb covers to tame down the brightness for night driving hoping it won't be very distracting but only time will tell. I ordered a 90 degree fitting for the fuel line since that loop is driving me nuts :ack2: and the fittings supplied left alot to be desired.

MAN.........when I first started looking at the resto pictures I thought "what a piece of crap!"
But a little further on into the restoration, when things were starting to come together,
I changed my mind and thought "WOW, he saw "Sleeping Beauty" where I couldn't! That 76
looks FANTASTIC! A lot of time and effort on your part equals ONE HELLUVA JOB!
Now all that's left is to go out and enjoy the hell out of it. Nice job, great outcome, and
a bunch of neat pictures documenting the work/resto. Congratulations!

Thanks Andy. It started as a request from my wife to help out her ill sister to get set up on Medicare for me to buy the car sight unseen and as the first photo in the slideshow indicates I had more of an up hill battle than expected. Your right though it's finally time to enjoy it now.

Been to a few cruise nights and joined the Corvette club of the Palm beaches.

The paint job on the car sure looks purty!

Excellent job!
