What is the top of the bike food chain? ZX-14 vs Hayabusa

I'm not surprised the weight made a difference. Even in cars (which I have drag raced) small changes mean a lot. A general rule of thumb is : 100lbs = a tenth of a second, and that's huge in racing.

With bikes it is more pronounced. I recall testing bikes for Motorcyclist and Sport Rider back to back with Kent Kunitsugu. He was 50 pounds lighter than me and a quarter second faster.
