• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. What's up with the red devils??

I dont think its a thing to show who is a member of roadhouse, but its a nifty way of linking on how to become a member. Going through user cp can be confusing for people.
 
I personally don't like the devil avatar. It is not clear to anyone that the devil picture is a link to the "how to sign up page", so if they want to sign up there should be a normal thread explaining it. I would like to see the devil avatars retired. JMHO :twocents:

Originally I thought it actually designated roadhouse membership, which I thought was kinda cool:thumbsup:

It seems that once again, I was incorrect (gotta stop doing that!)

If we're going to keep them as a way to find out how to link into the Roadhouse, I would either have it as an Icon on the main page, or at least, have a 1 liner under the icon that says "click here for the Roadhouse."

If we're going to use them to designate those of us perverted enough to enter the 'house', :wavey::wavey:Then maybe make them smaller and place them under the user name or at the bottom where the other icons are located.

Just my humble opinion.

The Roadhouse is not some clandestine place that only those kind of people go into. I'm with DVD on this one. Let no one strip me of my beloved devil.......HUTCH

What happens and how to the Devil Icon is up to RichZ.

Unlike some sites, the Roadhouse is not clandestine as you mention, nor is it unattainable to the general membership.

All you have to do is follow the link and you're in:thumbsup:

Just my $.02, I still think it ought to be smaller, whether it denotes RH entry or just a link to it.

Idk if this will work, I havent worked on a web page in years. Make the Red Devils link to roadhouse...for people who dont have access it will give them the wall of knowledge of how they arent registered. Have a link in the message that goes right to the part in user-cp for them to check mark an save? Just an idea, again not sure if it can be done.

Ya know anything! Is possible if you just apply it!...And yes the roadhouse should be invite only!!!!!....Just my opinion!......."SWAMP RAT"....

I've already accepted the fact that not everyone is going to like every thing I do here. I can live with that....... :hehehe:
