Road Trip!
With the traffic on this forum lately, you would think everyone traded their vettes in on a Prius and are hugging trees somewhere...

We have the 09 Corvette Caravan 22 days away and not a peep from anyone...WTF

3 people i know, have ever lost their van or traded it for a cheaper ride:eek:.Times are hard:ack2: i am even thinkin of selling the Whiteflash.Someone make me a offer:rolleyes:

Heck, this is the busy season with my business. Just not enough time to go around. Plus I have a lot of other things on my plate right now. Trying to sell the business, a big reptile show coming up in two weeks, working on getting a garage built, and lining up a new 427 Warhawk to be built and installed in my C5Z...

Wish Connie and I could to that caravan, as it sounds like it would be a LOT of fun, but just no way we can do something like that in September. At least not this year. Once we have off loaded the business and get retired, maybe so, but just not in the cards right now....

I've been popping on, but there hasn't been too much motivation for me to post recently. The whole last month has just been crap for me, even the Vette hasn't come out unscathed.

same here:(

I pop in throughout the day, post or start something occasionally, then go MIA again.

I'm still here watching, checking for the spammers and such nonsense, but between:

Been heavilly involved in our Airboat Search & Rescue team:

-Acting as Project coordinator/fund raiser for our teams Special Purpose Airboat, the Bark Ark, aka: The ARK which will serve as an animal rescue/support vessel for such groups as the USHS (Humane Society), DART (Disaster Animal Rescue Teams), SPCA, etc., as well as a mass casualty/mass evacuation and personnel transport vessel for medical, law enforcement, fire rescue/paramedic and military personnel into flooded areas.

-Getting airboat qualified (Federal DOI certification finally completed in late august)

-Getting ready for a 2 week small boat instructor school the EOM

-Doing live searches

-Trying to aquire gear and funding for the SAR group (this is NOT a good time for fund raising:NoNo:) to make sure we're ready should a hurricane or other situation strike.

-Handling training duties for the Security and Medical teams at the church

-Working 18+ hours a day with the business and expanding that...

Just not enough hours in the day to post a lot:(

I'm here and post when I can and I check in every now and then...

We are getting ready for a race event on Savannah, Ga this weekend prepping the cars :) FUN !
