Just got back from the first day of qualifying @ the World Street Nationals being held at Orlando Speed World this weekend. Pro Street, Outlaw 10.5 , Heavy and Drag Radial classes all ran today.
I've taken a bunch of photos and some videos that I'll post here between answering the door for the goblins and gouls tonight...Halloween, so keep checking here this evening and tomorrow to see what I have to put up here.

We had a bit of everything today. A few blown engines unfortunately, a couple of crashes, one resulting from a HUGH long wheelstand from the starting line ending in droping against the wall as he came down. A couple of fires (with no injuries in any of these incidents!) and even a few moments wait for a passing light sprinkle. All in all, a really great day in fine weather.
Lets start with this giant wheelstand by this old Vette in the Outlaw 10.5 class:

The NEW 2010 Camaro Pro Street!!! Believe it. I saw it myself:
How about another '63? This one a blown 700+ cubic inch monster! Oh yeah, that's a Road Runner blown Hemi in the other lane.
