• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

After spending a year and a half on it, we finally hit the track this past weekend. Here are some pics from the HSR event held at the Daytona International Speedway.

Thanks
:D Jim :D

I honestly can't tell what the top speed was, Neal was driving and I was crew chiefing, since this was our first run we were kinda busy just making sure we ran the entire race. We developed a miss that was driving us nuts over the weekend, we said before we ever went that if we finished in one piece that we would consider it a successful trip. Beside I didn't set up my AIM timing beacon and my telemitry system wasn't set up to work off of the scoring loops. Like I said we just wanted to put the car through a good shake down.

The car is pulling 468 RWHP, there is more there but we`want to stay on the safe side. It has headers, a head and cam job, 90 mm TB and intake, coilovers, R6 Hoosiers, stripped down as much as possible except for the roll cage and safety equipment, plus a World Challenge aero package.

Man, that looks REALLY sharp! Glad you got to put it through a trial by fire and it held up OK.

Not yet, when I got back Sunday evening I just unhooked from the trailer and went home. I will get it figured out on Sat. morning.

Sweet looking Vette! Give those other cars (Porches etc) a run for their money!!!

I really like the stripes.. reminds me of the '04 Z06 Commemorative version that I have.

Downloaded the telemitry this past weekend, evidently there was an AIM timing beacon setup; anyway looks like as bad as it was running we still hit 156. Fuel pump wiring was the issue, I think it is taken care of now. Next race will be Sebring the first weekend in March. The 2008 schedule is available ar www.hsrrace.com :wavey:

Did I see this car over at Extreme Motorsports about a month or so ago? Did Chris get your problem solved? He just installed a Procharger and a Spec clutch and Fidanza flywheel on my 03' Z06 and I am very happy with the outcome,541 rwhp and 511 tq. Good luck and a beautiful car.
