Default I'm going to hell in a handbag

Who knows what that means, but I would like to share something I did on my '03. Being I've owned a stock '66 for a while without ever deviating from my "stock" mentality, I'm having a bit of fun with this type of mod- if you would even consider what I'm doing a mod. I think I'm done, though.

I put LED strips in the cove area that blink with the directionals, and also light when the brakes are applied. Click on this image for a quick video clip. This was taken with the garage door open and low sunlight outside. Tell me what you think. Thanks.

Hey, to each their own, but I think you're making quite a light show out of your car. If it's what you want to do, then go for it. You are the only one you need to please.

But if you come up with some way to make flames come out of the tail pipes, now THAT I might be interested in.

It is actually a subtle light- not ornate or "blingy". The lights are not on all the time- only when the brakes are applied and when the directionals are on. I know what you're saying about the light show and all, but it's not in the "rice-burner" category. Thanks though for the input.

As for the flames ... I'm having an issue with my '68 Harley, and THAT IS SHOOTING FLAMES - literally.

What is your birth date of your 03 ? If it's Jan it has my DNA all over it .Found one of mine at an Orlando car show today and it was quite exciting for both me and the owner .

Very cool. I've been wanting to add a light behind the side gills on my 96 for when the directionals come on only. Just haven't had time yet.

I like it tied in with the directionals. Its kind of "European" like the BMW's and Audi's with the light on the fender for turn signals. I was considering doing the same mod to my C5.

Nope ,sorry that it's not one of my children .I can say that the 2003 model year had the highest quality record of any year Corvette has been manufactured .Sort of like owning a great vintage wine .
