There is a place in Punta Gorda that is a must see for all car nuts. If you have not made the trip yet you really need to find time to get over there. This is a private collection that is housed in an old Wal-Mart. Although the majority are Corvettes, he also has many other GM muscle cars, again mostly Chevy's.
The owner is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I organized a 4 club caravan for today and it was an out of this world experience. We had approximately 65 Corvette's in our caravan. I want to thank Bay Are Corvette Club, Skyway Corvette Club and Gulf Coast Corvette Club. Here are a few pictures I took
.
Here we are arriving.
When you enter they showroom you are greeted with the C1's
Next are the C2's, and I need to mention I counted 14 yes 14 big block 67's. Remember this are all owned by this one person.
A few C3's also were there.
How about a Camaro or two.
Looking for a Grand Sport old or new.
I believe ther were only 3 ZL1's produced by Chevrolet, and this is supposed to be a true documented one.
If I could not have a vette, my next selection would be a 62 Belair 409/425 4 speed. This was one of at least 5 or 6 409's.
