Default Paddle shifting

The more I drive my 08 C6 via Paddle Shift, the more I feel like I am asking for police trouble. I leave it in D and I am nice and calm driving. Paddle Shifting leads me to want to up the RPM's until the NPP opens up and romp on it. Is it just me or do others do this also.
I did go to AntiVenom over the weekend and when the 2000 mile mark hits, an air intake and dyno tune are due. Only 1100 miles to go, I need to hit the road more I guess.

I feel the same way. Run it up with the paddle shifters, but wifey complains.

Wonder if there has ever been a satisfaction poll regarding paddle shifters. As for myself, dont have them... they did not come in my 05 and I am not losing any sleep over it. If I wanted to shift I would have bought a manual Tranny...

Had no choice. Paddle shifters came with the 08. Figured if they are there why not play with them sometimes.

Get an A6 tune and see what it REALLY can do! Crisp, firm shifts w/out the delay....you won't believe the difference!

OK Who can enlighten me as to what exactly is an A6 tune, what will it do, and lastly where to get it done I asked at a local dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about.

We do it here in Sarasota for $99. It takes away most of the built in "slip" that GM has in the A6 for comfort, and also reduces the lag time to react to your command. The rest is a little bump in line pressure (also helps reduce clutches wear) and that is it. Down near you you may want to contact Masport or Mike Norris comes that way to HorsePower Sales. If they need the files they can contact us & we will forward them....or make a day-trip up to us.

Oh, the dealer is not capable of the majic a good tuner is.
