Rain.......
Is it just me or are we in a tropical monsoon season here in Florida? Seems like we are getting rain every day since I can remember. Last year 4th of July was basically cancelled because of the dryness, whereas his year you almost drown just trying to breath the air outside.
One good thing is that it seemed to have drowned all the mosquitos that were out and about early on in the spring. But I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop for another wave of them....
Got the mosquito magnets running 24/7, just in case.

This is the typical summer pattern that we had when I was growing up around here in the 60's and 70's. Everyday around 2 or 3 we would get a 30 or 40 minute round of thunder showers (presumably due to the heat build up) and then it would clear and be more humid than before the storm.

I love it, my lawn and cow pasture look better than they have in years!
I'm spending more time on the mower as a result though.

Yeah, you should see how BIG the blueberries are on the bushes on our property! If anyone wants to come up to pick blueberries when they are ripe, come on over.

I remember it being like this when I was a kid, hot and sunny all day and a rainstorm at night!
I (along with a few others here) have been calling it hurricane Taneeki 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
our pasture has never looked better

I love the rain, best car wash i can get for free lol. Last wednesday i drove in the rain then back through it. Got back into town were it wasnt raining, got out and my paint looked like it just rolled off the factory floor, but when i spend two hours washing and quick waxing, its like 3/4 as good.

Any time before 5pm and I hate the rain. It does nothing but mess up work.
