They did The pre-agreement was that the Gov't will own 60% ,the labor unions get their share and the bond holders and stock holders get kicked in the balls.

Hmmm.... Just the other day I heard a rumor that China is making automobiles with the intent to distribute them in the USA. How much pull do you think China has these days with the USA government? Suppose their intent is to clear out the competition here first? Do you think the government would dare oppose that and risk having China call in all the debts that the government has incurred via loans over the years?

all I can say is, it sounds like Hitler and Stalin @ work doesn't it? they tried to make their people drive those one size fits all cars, If you take away the ability to have individuality from the people you have better control.
I hope all of this don't screw up the Camaro we ordered they said we did it so early that it shouldn't.

As I understand the Chevrolet line will stay intact just the way it is at least for now.I'm sure in time the GOV'T will decide what you'll drive.

I know us little shops will more than likely do even better if they stop making super cars, we will be re-building old ones more.
